The California Department of Food and Agriculture is hosting NFACT / California 2002 Farm Bill Forums.  In California, we will hold nine sessions starting November 14, 2000 in Fresno. Click here for dates and locations. In choosing each location, we tried to be as comprehensive as possible to reflect California's diverse agricultural, environmental, and regional needs.

The process we are going to utilize for each forum is a facilitated discussion around focus questions.  The focus questions will address the priority issues of NFACT.

There will also be time for public comments on any other issues impacted by the Farm Bill.  These comments will be limited to 3 minutes per person. If you would like to participate in the public comment portion of the forum there will be sign-up sheets the day of the forum.
